How it works

The Supercolony launchpad on Elysium works like pons on Robinhood Chain (its first version): no bonding curve, no migration. A token is born straight into a locked Uniswap v3 pool against HYPE and trades there for life.

Launching a token

  1. Open Create a token. Give it a name (32 characters), a ticker (10), a square logo, a short description and links.
  2. Optionally set a first buy in HYPE. It runs in the same transaction as the launch, so nobody can buy before you.
  3. Confirm in your wallet. You pay the 0.025 HYPE launch fee plus your first buy.

That one transaction deploys the token with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, creates its 1% pool against HYPE and puts the entire supply into the pool. Nobody holds tokens that weren't bought from the pool. The token has no owner, no mint, no pause, no blacklist and no transfer tax. Its name, logo, description and links are stored on-chain.

Price and market cap

Every launch opens at the same price: about 30 HYPE market cap (≈ $2.4K) (market cap = price × 1B supply). Buying takes tokens out of the pool and adds HYPE, so the price rises; selling does the opposite. Because every launch starts with the same pool, the market cap depends only on how much HYPE has been paired into it:

HYPE in the poolMarket cap (HYPE)Market cap (USD)Supply bought
541$3,21214%
25101$7,91745%
50213$16,73462%
100562$44,15077%
1501,078$84,61083%
2001,760$138,11587%

USD at the current HYPE price. Exact numbers also depend on fees and on how buys and sells interleave.

Graduation

A launch graduates once 200 HYPE is paired in its pool, which is about 1,760 HYPE market cap (≈ $138.1K), with roughly 87% of the supply bought. Each token's page shows a progress bar. Graduation is recorded on-chain and marked on the board.

Nothing moves when a token graduates: there is no migration, and trading continues in the same pool. Graduation only confirms the threshold was reached. It is not a quality signal and doesn't guarantee future liquidity or price.

Fees

  • Trading fee: 1% of every trade, charged by the pool in both HYPE and the token.
  • Creator: 70% of that fee, forever. Claim it on your token's page ("Claim creator fees"); it arrives as WHYPE and tokens. The creator can redirect future fees to another wallet.
  • Protocol: 30% of the fee.
  • Launch fee: 0.025 HYPE, once.

The split is fixed for each token when it launches and can't change later.

Launch protection

  • In the first second only the creator can buy (your first buy).
  • For the first 2 minutes each wallet can buy at most 5.5% of the supply per trade and hold at most 5% from pool buys.
  • Selling and wallet-to-wallet transfers are never restricted, and all limits end when the window closes.

Trading on Elysium

Buy with HYPE and sell back to HYPE from any token's page. Set your slippage; the quote shows what you receive and the minimum you accept.

Elysium is new. Its sequencer doesn't take transactions directly from the public yet, so every transaction goes through two wallet steps:

  1. Sign on Elysium. Your wallet signs the trade or launch. Selling first asks for a gas-free permit signature instead of an approval transaction.
  2. Deliver through HyperEVM. Your wallet posts that signed transaction to the Elysium Inbox on HyperEVM. This costs a tiny amount of HYPE on HyperEVM and guarantees it will be included.

The transaction then lands with the next Elysium batch, about every 3 hours at the moment, or within 24 hours at the latest. It shows under "Your transactions" in the sidebar until then. If you skipped the second step, use "Deliver" there.

The queue

Everything signed and waiting for the next batch is public in the queue: the Launches page shows how many launches and trades are waiting and which tokens have the most buys lined up, and each token page lists its queued trades in order. Transactions posted to the Inbox execute in Inbox order, so anything queued before you executes before you. Quotes account for that: "You receive" assumes every trade queued ahead of you lands first, and your minimum is set from it.

A launch in the queue already has its final token address, so it gets a page right away and can be pre-bought. Once the creator has posted the launch to the Inbox, a pre-buy goes to the Inbox after it and executes right after the launch in the same batch. Launch protection counts from the time the launch was posted, so a pre-buy posted in the first 2 minutes is capped like any early buy. If the launch fails, the pre-buy reverts and only costs gas. Need HYPE on Elysium? Use the Bridge. Use the "Add Elysium network" button so your wallet uses our RPC.

Risks

  • Launched tokens are user-created and experimental. They are volatile and can lose all value.
  • Anyone can launch any name, ticker or image, including copies of existing projects. The token address is the only identifier that can't be copied.
  • Transactions land with the next batch, so prices can move between quoting and execution. Queue estimates only include trades we can see; slippage protects you from the rest.
  • The contracts are not audited. Use amounts you can afford to lose.
